With the market already running on a high note with players like Saavn, Gaana, Wynk, Apple Music and Amazon Music out there, Spotify is planning to enter the space of online music streaming in India, soon. As reportedly confirmed by CEO Daniel Ek at a recent investors day presentation, Spotify is ready to make its India debut shortly. According to a report by Android Authority, Ek said, “We are working on launching in some of the biggest markets in the world, including India, Russia, and Africa which has a very rich musical culture.” Just earlier this week, Spotify made its debut in four new markets, which include Israel, Romania, South Africa and Vietnam.
